Reserved Vending

As a pilot in 2017, the Mountain Market is offering reserved vending locations.

LOCATION
The reserved vending area is located in the treed area along the alleyway in Rotary Park. The Mountain Market Manager will work with you to find a location in this area. Your spot will be reserved for each Rotary Park Market for the whole season.

PAYMENT
To reserve your location, you must prepay for the entire season. Rates are calculated at the weekly market rate eg. 10x10 spot would be $20/market @ 10 markets for a total of $200. Other size booth will be rated similarly. Payment will be collected the first market of the season to secure your spot. Please note that a reserved vendor location is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

TIMELINE
The Reserved Seasonal Vending Request Form is open from 12am on June 1st till 12pm on July 15th each year. Vendors from the previous year have priority. Spots will be assigned in the order they are received. Submitting the request form does not guarantee you a reserved spot. Spots will be finalized during the first and second market of the season in Rotary Park.

ARRIVAL
Vendors must arrive by 9am to claim their reserved market spot. If vendors do not claim their spot by 9am, then it will be given away to another vendor. The vendor will then also lose their entire reservation fee and their reservation for the rest of the season.

CANCELLATIONS
Vendors may notify the Mountain Market if they cannot attend and will therefor continue to secure their spot. Vendors may cancel their location by notifying the Mountain Market a minimum of 48 hours before the market start. Vendors must notify the market, at the latest by 10am on the Friday preceding the Sunday market date to reserve the good standing of their reserved location. Only cancellations received via email at mountainmarketfernie@gmail.com will qualify as a valid cancellation (communications via phone, text, or Facebook messages do not qualify). There are no refunds.
