This year’s Canada Day event will be bigger & better than ever! It being organized through the collaboration of volunteers from local service clubs, including the Fernie Lions Club, Fernie Rotary Club, Fernie Legion, Fernie Elks Lodge, Mountain Market and the 3300 Club, in partnership with the City of Fernie and the Yaq̓itʔa·knuqⱡi‘it Community. The celebration will take place in downtown Fernie.

Do you want to vend at the Canada Day Market in Fernie?
- 1st: Review our vendor guidelines. You need to complete the 3 steps to become a Mountain Market vendor to attend the Canada Day Mountain Market event.
- 2nd: Email the Mountain Market (step #1) to tell us what you want to sell/share at Canada Day.
- 3rd: Watch your inbox for an email back which will include a link to our online Canada Day registration form.
- 4th: Complete the online Canada Day registration form and get ready for some Canada Day fun!
- IMPORTANT: The Canada Day event is at a different location than our regular Rotary Park markets. Pre-registration is required to vend at this event.

Do I need to pre-register and pre-pay to attend this event? Yes
How much does it cost to vend at the Canada Day Mountain Market event? It is $25 for a 10×10 booth. Food trucks cost $35. Community organizations attend for free.
Do I need to have insurance to vend? Yes. All vendors are required to have insurance. Read how on the Vendors Only page. Many vendors like to use Duuo which is supringly quick, easy to use and costs most vendors less than $20/day.
